If Obama has his way, your world will look much differently 5 years from now. He has a grand plan that, in his mind, is what America wants, what America needs and what America will have under him. The key phrase here is “under him”. He displays a desire to rule by acclamation, intimidation and decree. I haven’t figured out yet if he sees himself as king, emperor or dictator but he’s trying to take control of this country with no regard to our laws and Constitution.

His and Michelle’s thinking and attitudes are not normal nor or they American by any stretch of the imagination. Most recently, Michelle gave an interview in which she expressed her dismay at being labeled an “angry black woman”.

Mrs. Obama Tired of Angry Black Woman Stereotype

Well, if the shoe fits… She actually had the lack of self awareness to express anger at being called angry. Her comments and observations of the American people were condescending and arrogant. She claimed that the only reason people didn’t agree with her and Barak is because they were “confused”.

Michelle Obama Says Americans Confused

Apparently she’s never considered the possibility that we’re not “confused” but rather “opposed” to their vision of a new America.

If Obama is re-elected you can bet this country will not only continue down the road to ruin but will arrive there long before his second term is ended.

At this point I am not very encouraged by the field of candidates vying for the position of challenger to Obama in 2012. Their behavior has not instilled confidence in me or much of America to this point. I can only hope and pray that as we narrow down the field to the one individual who will challenge Obama, that a majority of true Americans can rally around this person to defeat the potential dictator that now occupies the White House.

Because Obama has demonstrated his lack of respect for the Constitution and lack of awareness concerning reality at home and abroad I think we must be prepared for the worst.

Obama's Recess Appointments Could Signify End to Senate Role

Couple this with the abysmal situations, both economic and social, in Europe, Asia and the Middle East and we have are recipe for disaster. The perfect storm is brewing and it’s on the horizon.

In my next few blogs I want to take some time to outline steps I think are necessary to prepare for a possible four more years of chaos and liberalism. Obama seems bent on bringing this nation to its knees and installing socialism as our form of government. If he succeeds in his attacks on our freedoms and American way of life, there will be many dark days ahead for us and our children economically and socially.

The time to wake up, prepare and act is NOW!

I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised by anything that happens politically or economically these days.

But I can’t help shaking my head in disbelief at the incomprehensible exuberance displayed in the stock markets these past few days.

I have ranted and raved of manipulation in the past but this is really beyond the pale.

The Euro is on its last legs and we’ve been warned that it could actually break up within the next few weeks.

Debt Crisis Festers

Greece and Ireland are bankrupt with Italy and Spain not far behind. The debt that has toppled these nations is growing and yet we are led to believe something can be done to stem the tide.

We see suspicious numbers coming out of the U.S. government that would lead one to believe we are on the road to recovery but something just doesn’t feel right. Contradictory reports and numbers lead to confusion and more questions.

Government officials both here and abroad pontificate that we need tighter fiscal policies and austerity measures and yet the borrowing bonanza continues.

The central banks agreed to lower the cost of borrowing the dollar which led the markets to a meteoric rise.

Stocks Surge as Borrowing Costs are Cut

The key word in that sentence is “borrowing”. What genius came up with this solution? The solution to the massive debt burden toppling world economies is to…wait for it…borrow more money?

We had a massive rally mid week that was supposedly fueled by record Black Friday sales and a European solution of easy dollars. The reasons don’t make sense to me. Black Friday sales were touted as record breaking.

Record Black Friday Sales

I cry foul! With extended shopping hours and deep discounts what did the retailers expect? You can’t change the parameters and say you’ve broken a record. It’s not fair. It’s like claiming you broke the record for the most hot dogs eaten when, in fact, you’re eating cocktail franks. It doesn’t fly.

The rally in the stock market was fuelled by money drunk bankers taking advantage of cheap dollars and bolstering the markets at year’s end to pad their bonuses. Time will tell but I believe folks will eventually be going to jail over all the shenanigans we see in the markets today.

I think the truest sign that we’re in serious trouble is the party mentality that seems to pervade sentiment right now. Things are so bad we might as well borrow and spend as much as we can for as long as we can. The same mood prevailed in 1929. We all know how that turned out.

Eat, drink and be merry today for tomorrow we die.

What a disgrace! What an embarrassment! What a mess!

Our illustrious president has called Americans “lazy”, “soft”, and “un-ambitious” in speeches both at home and abroad. I, for one, am offended by that assessment. And if he truly believes that of his fellow Americans then what in the world is he doing occupying the White House?

Obama’s ‘ill-concealed contempt’ for Americans

I am constantly amazed at his arrogance, disdain and utter lack of shame. Immediately following his remarks concerning America’s laziness he rushes off to the……golf course! Is he really that clueless? Or is this just a game to him like the rest of his life has been to this point. He’s never been held accountable by the press for any of his gaffs, mistakes, bungles, lies, insults or questionable actions.

In my local paper yesterday morning there were articles highlighting the gaffs and baggage of three of the top four GOP frontrunners. Gingrich, Cain and Perry were all cast in a negative light. I searched the paper twice to find any article regarding the “lazy” comment, Solyndra, Fast and Furious, the countless Executive Orders bypassing Congress or the lavish, opulent lifestyle of the Obama’s during this economic crisis. There were a few buried articles regarding Solyndra but none that even hinted at any connection between the failed company and Obama. The press has effectively shielded him from any negatives and seems determined to see him elected for a second term.

While he and his wife travel the globe, we here at home struggle day to day to make ends meet, manage our debt and try to figure out how to weather this economic storm in which we find ourselves.

I find it a bit ironic that the man accused of firing shots at the White House is being accused of attempted assassination of the President.

Latino Charged with Attempted Assassination of President Obama

If he’s like most of us, he probably had a good idea that the President wasn’t home. The odds of Obama being in the White House when there’s globetrotting or golf to be had are pretty slim.

While Obama stands on the bow shouting “I’m king of the world” we are down in the boiler room trying to gather enough coal to keep the ship moving.

For the record, I am not one of those who think Barak Obama is a genius. I do not find him to be articulate by many standards. I think he lacks common sense and has an extreme case of Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

In my opinion, he has been coddled, pampered and escorted all the way through his life to the Presidency of the United States. Nothing in his background, scholastic endeavors or experience qualifies him for this office. Even the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded him based upon nothing quantifiable.

And yet, he has been given the keys to the kingdom, delivered to him on a silver platter. He has received a pass at every turn and knows nothing of sacrifice, loyalty, integrity or honesty. He is a common Chicago gangster thug. He rules rather than governs. He dictates rather than legislates. He signs Executive Order after Executive Order to please himself and his ideals rather than to serve the American people.

I get the sense that we the people are an inconvenience to him and his wife. We put demands upon him that keep him from his golf games and her from her luxury vacations.

Michelle Obama's Vacation at Taxpayer's Expense

The members of his cabinet and his appointed “czars” follow the same model.

Obama's Czars Seize More Power

I find the term “czar” rather odd when speaking of someone who presumably is appointed to serve the public. I always associated the term with a ruling or dictating role rather than one of servant. We have a rainbow in the highest positions in this country. We have blacks, latinos, gays, lesbians, and no shortage of women. The only minority we don’t have represented are little people.

I look at people like Holder, Napolitano, and Clinton and I see entitled individuals who condescend to the American people. Their aloof attitudes speak of arrogance and disdain rather than humility and servitude. And yet the only credential they display is that they are a member of a minority. They are an affirmative action class member.

I had the great pleasure of reading Bill O’Reilly’s book “Killing Lincoln” recently. If you haven’t read it you owe it to yourself to do so.

Bill O'Reilly's Killing Lincoln

It is educational and spellbinding. It gives tremendous insight into Lincoln and the events surrounding his assassination. It also gave me a better sense of Lincoln the man. I feel an affinity toward him that was lacking before I read the book.

Here was a man who came from humble beginnings and worked hard and long all his life. He knew sacrifice and sorrow. He knew long grueling hours and commitment. It gave me a great hunger for a leader to emerge that matched Lincoln’s passion for and dedication to this country.

We need a leader that can bring us back to the greatness that once was America. There is no doubt we have veered from the path. We have lost much of our power and prestige in the world. We are losing our standing as the greatest nation in the world.

Barak Obama has done much to weaken our nation. He wants to do much more. I believe this is not by accident but by design. He wants to do much more harm and will if he’s given the chance.

He has been given a pass at every turn. He has received the kid glove treatment. The red carpet has been rolled out at his every step. The media has crowned him king and will do whatever it takes to see he remains on the throne.

We need to bring honor, dignity and commitment back to America and it starts at the top. We need to stand up and cry out “ENOUGH!”.

My 13 year old, 7th grade grandson came home from middle school yesterday looking a bit down and disgruntled. After a bit of prodding the story came out as to why his mood was so cloudy. Apparently he and some friends were eating lunch when one turned to another and asked if he was a Christian. The boy answered that he was at which time my grandson (I’m extremely proud to say) interjected that he was also a Christian. His friend who had originally asked the question then turned to him and said, “F… you, I’m not your friend anymore”.

Now, I must admit, my initial internal reaction was anything but Christian. Then I got to wondering. Where did this kind of attitude from a 7th grader originate? My conclusion is he has been influenced by attitudes at home, in the media (tv, movies, news, politics, history books) or the internet.

What concerns me most about this exchange is that it is acceptable to the school. If this had been an exchange involving a black child, a Muslim child, a gay child….well you get the idea, the school authorities would have stepped in and condemned this as hate speech, racism and/or bullying. But in this time of our nation’s history it is perfectly acceptable to bash Christians.

I have known from an early age with every fiber of my being, deep within my heart of hearts that God exists. I have danced with Him throughout my 56 years. Sometimes I try to lead, sometimes I follow and sometimes I sit in the chairs against the wall watching everyone else dance. I have even tried to spike the punch a time or two. In other words, I’m not perfect. That’s why I need God. I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He became the perfect sacrifice for my failings and faults. It just makes innate sense to me that the one true God of love would provide a way for imperfect me to connect with Him.

Numerous polls are taken on a regular basis to try and get a handle on religion in the United States. The numbers fluctuate depending on how the question is asked but consistently the numbers show that approximately 80% of Americans identify themselves as Christian. Maybe that’s why liberals see them as such a threat.

There are many songs asking God to bless America. I’m sure a few come to your mind. I am afraid we are not at a place right now that God would be inclined to shower us with blessings. We kill our unborn babies, we deny Him in our schools, government, cemeteries, workplace, public forums and so forth. We thumb our noses at Him. So why would He want to bless us? Even His Chosen People have experienced what happens when they deny and disobey Him.

We get what we deserve and as a country we deserve the worst. I believe Obama, Pelosi, Reid, our economy and riots in the streets are evidence that He is letting us have our way. We sure know how to mess things up without Him don’t we?

God help us!

You always knew it existed so there’s really nothing new here. I just wanted to once again point out the double standard that the left and the liberal media seem to accept as the norm.

When the Tea Party first coalesced into something tangible and meaningful several years ago, the left decried it as “Astroturf” and a flash in the pan. When it became apparent that the Tea Party was a force to be reckoned with, they then warned that “these people are dangerous” and called them terrorists. The Tea Party has been painted as “racist”, “fringe element” and a “small fanatical minority”. By the description of their peaceful and respectful rallies you’d think there were riots in the streets. Some misguided officials even went so far as to call out the National Guard to keep the peace. It would be laughable if it wasn’t so sad.

Now we have hippy throwbacks protesting Wall Street.

Protests Against Wall Street

They admittedly have no clear agenda or objective but they are gathering by the hundreds and camping out for the “duration”. They can’t articulate how long the “duration” will be because they won’t know when they’ve reached their goal.

The press is treating these people more like heroes than the rabble they have become. By many reports the crowds are comprised of college students and unemployed individuals. That makes sense because who would have the time to just “hang out” on Wall Street in a sleeping bag, eating free donated food and surfing the internet with free Wi-Fi if you had a real job?

We would be led to believe these folks are of the same stock as the founding fathers while the Tea Party members are Hitler clones. It’s perfectly acceptable to the mainstream media that these folks throw bricks through windows, burn cars and businesses and shut down bridges all in the name of something they can’t even articulate. I don’t know about you, but in my mind there’s a glaring double standard here.

Many of the protesters dressed as zombies.

Wall Street Protesters

Supposedly they were attempting to represent “corporate zombies” but I think it was the perfect irony underscoring their mindset and their nebulous cause.

I have seen my share of weird, unbelievable and inexplicable things in my time but the global stock markets’ behavior the past few days goes beyond anything ever featured on The X-Files or Twilight Zone.

Citing “hope” based upon reported “rumors” by CNBC and others that Germany, the EIB and the EU were going to come to Greece’s rescue, the markets cheered loudly and forged full steam ahead as though we were back in the Roaring 20s. Elated and ecstatic “investors” raced to drive the markets higher and higher, all the while ignoring the cold hard facts of dismal economic reports.

When investments are driven by intangibles and the tangibles are ignored it’s time to head for the exits.

Unemployment up, housing down, confidence down, output and production down, debt at record levels and rising, and devaluing dollars with no end in sight seem like pretty concrete reasons to show a bit of caution to me.

Hope
that the EU can pull a rabbit out of the hat or fire a magic bullet
from an empty gun also seem like pretty good reasons to show a lot of
caution.

In fact, Germany says no more bailout money than previously planned.

Germany Says No New Bailout

In fact, EIB says the report by CNBC was false and that they have no plans to be involved in any bailout programs.

EIB Maintains No Bailout Stance

In fact, many countries have not yet agreed to the plan formulated in July 2011.

Europe Euphoria May Be Premature

The markets, for the most part, are choosing to ignore the truths behind these false stories.

I am beginning to feel more and more like Fox Mulder. I am beginning to hear whispers in my head of conspiracies and manipulation. I am willing to entertain the idea that the media and our government are willing to mislead the American people to postpone the inevitable train wreck that is our economy. If this is true, then criminal acts are being perpetrated against the American people by individuals in very high places. History will show that most, or all, of these scoundrels are becoming extremely wealthy off the backs of the American taxpayer.

Having witnessed Obama and his administration’s willingness to outright lie to us, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the case concerning our economy. I can hear their defense now. “We were doing it for the good of the country.” The lap dog media is following the script perfectly and supporting this smoke and mirrors sham. I saw no retraction by CNBC to their erroneous story regarding EIB. Sure would be nice to see some accountability in the media as well as the White House.

Of course, if that happened, I would then feel certain I have fallen into the Twilight Zone.

Are you kidding me? We waited for this? The gall of the Obama administration to build so much fanfare and waste so much time on a “nothing new” plan. Obama spoke before the full House and Senate and, with a straight face, accused the lawmakers of dragging their feet. He chided them on inaction.

Obama Job Plan Offers Nothing New

I am dumbfounded at his brass. I knew he was narcissistic but his mental illness is far more advanced than I would have ever dreamed. We are in serious trouble with this guy. He should be hospitalized immediately.

Social Security is already on the ropes and he wants to reduce the amount of money going into the program. He wants to throw more bad money toward non job creating projects just like we’ve done for the past three years. He wants to set up a special bank for municipalities to borrow from for infrastructure projects, virtually eliminating the bond market. None of these things together or alone will create any measurable number of jobs but will most certainly increase our debt and woes.

Obama's Job Plan Will Lead to Greater Debt

He says “Pass the bill now” while promising to find ways of paying for it later. This sounds eerily familiar to me. Seems we heard the same kind of rush tactics with his monstrous healthcare plan. We can no longer afford to trust him. He has proven time and time again to be a liar. He’ll say anything he needs to say at the time to get his way. He tells us what he thinks we want to hear and what is convenient for him.

He hasn’t sent any meaningful legislation over to the legislative branch and yet he accuses them of inaction. He says the Republicans are using this issue as campaign fodder and yet he’s the one traveling the country on the taxpayer’s dime to give speech after unending speech. Photo opportunities galore and nothing of real substance accomplished.

Obama Goes On the Road to Push Job Plan

We must say “NO” loudly and clearly to this president. He has not heard us and continues to live his extravagant lifestyle while exhorting us to tighten our belts.

He doesn’t feel our pain…he is our pain.

Here we go again! As if we haven’t had enough of hearing Obama speak, now we have to watch his dog and pony show before Congress. Yes, he actually requested to speak before a joint session. Now folks, that’s a really big deal. Rarely do we see this kind of drama. Usually these kinds of Presidential addresses are for something really big. Don’t misunderstand, I believe the economy and jobs are a big deal but Obama’s handling of them has become a real yawner.

What a joke! The media would have us believe that we should be waiting in breathless anticipation for his golden words of wisdom on how to fix our economy and create jobs. Been there, done that…over and over again. When is this guy going to get a clue and realize that he’s full of hot air and is in way over his head?

The “leaks” regarding his big speech are showing us the same old unsuccessful plans of the past two and half years.

Obama's New Job Plan Sounds Too Familiar

It is absolutely mind boggling to me that he can stand up with a straight face and say the government needs to spend more money on proven to fail projects. By his own admission, “Shovel ready projects weren’t so shovel ready”. After he made this statement all those around him laughed along with him. I don’t find anything about a multi-billion dollar failed project funny.

And then you’ve got the ultra loonies like Maxine Waters stating with conviction that we need to be spending a trillion dollars or more. WOW! Wish I had that kind of money to just flippantly throw around.

To say government spending and intervention are out of hand is like saying the Titanic had a little fender bender. We can’t afford another day of these misguided people, let alone four more years.

Government can’t fix the economy nor create jobs. We have seen examples of this time and time again. It is well beyond the point where Obama and his cronies need to stop trying to fix things and just keep their mouths shut.

Of course, for Obama, trying to keep his mouth shut is like trying to hold back the tide. So get out your Obama BS Bingo cards and get ready to miss your favorite Thursday night television programs.

If there is a chance to pontificate or a photo opportunity, you can bet Obama will be there! He loves the limelight. I guess that’s his definition of transparency. It’s not mine!

The media, who is largely responsible for getting him elected, is now stuck with him. If they turn on him or expose him for who he really is, they admit they were wrong. To admit failure at this point is not an option, so they have to plow ahead no matter how absurd and dimwitted it appears.

I have to laugh every time I read another article or blog about his upcoming, highly anticipated speech regarding his economic and job solutions. Does anyone from this planet seriously think he’s going to come up with something new? He’s been spouting the same old rhetoric since his first campaign speech in the 2008 election.

Obama Plans Job Speech

We’ve seen the man behind the curtain and we don’t like what we see.

He and his Washington cronies need a dose of reality. He says he feels our pain and yet he and his family live like royalty. After telling us his top priority is jobs, he jets off to Martha’s Vineyard for a lengthy and expensive vacation. After telling us we need to tighten our belts, he hosts lavish parties at the White House. (If as much work was done in the White House as partying, we might not be in this mess). After telling us his priority is getting Americans back to work, he rides off in a million dollar bus built in Canada. He is the very definition of clueless. Either that or he is just plain evil. I prefer to think he’s clueless.

Other than looking nice on top of a lemon pie, meringue has no real value. All fluff and no substance. Reminds me a lot of Obama.

I am absolutely dumbfounded by the stock market’s reaction to Ben Bernanke’s comments (actually lack of comments) in Jackson Hole, Wyoming last Friday. Reminded me of a black hole where a whole lot of nothing can be catastrophic.

For weeks the hype was that the markets were up on anticipation of Bernanke unveiling some new information and/or plans for addressing our dismal economic conditions. Some were hoping for QE3, others that he would take a stand against additional printing of funny money.

In fact, neither one materialized. He basically said nothing and postponed saying anything until the next FOMC meeting in the latter part of September.

Bernanke Says Nothing In August 26th Speech

My take on his silence was that he either doesn’t know what to do or he knows that there is nothing he can do to improve the job picture and economy. Both scenarios should have been extremely negative for the financial markets. He was simply too afraid to voice these facts for fear of a catastrophic financial meltdown.

But the markets chose to take his silence as a positive sign. They interpreted his lack of comments or plans as a sign that he thinks the economy is healthy and needs no additional help. Talk about a stretch of the imagination! What are these folks smoking? What planet are they from?

With this kind of blind faith and enthusiasm we are most certainly headed for hard times. Many of these same people will be standing in the street bewildered and bereft when the financial meltdown hits. They will be asking, How could this have happened? Why didn’t anyone see this coming? Why didn’t anyone warn us?

These folks will be looking to the Federal Government to bail them out which is just what this administration wants.

The slippery slopes of Jackson Hole are nothing compared to the one we’re about to find ourselves riding.

Is anyone really naïve enough to believe Obama any longer? We’ve been hearing about his “total” commitment to jobs creation and the economy since his first campaign; a campaign which, by the way, seems to be continuing as I write this blog.

Is he really committed to the American people and the economy or is he more interested in traveling, vacationing, campaigning and spending the taxpayers’ hard earned dollars (none of which he has helped create or earn)?

We are now supposed to be waiting with breathless anticipation his new plan which he will announce with much fanfare sometime after Labor Day.

Obama to Reveal Jobs Plan after Labor Day

Reportedly, we have to wait until then because he’s waiting for Congress to return. Funny he didn’t wait to for Congress before declaring amnesty for millions of illegal aliens. (That’s another topic for another day).

Is he really as arrogant and disconnected as to think we believe this bull? Where was this “fantastic” plan over the last 2 and half years? If he has the answers, why have we been forced to wait until now?

It’s sad to see how low our nation has been laid by this clown. Did he really travel our nation’s midsection on a trio of million dollar buses built in Canada while touting a need for job creation in America?

Obama Tours Country in Buses made in Canada

Did he really call it a fact finding tour when the only fact to be found was that it was a campaign swing? Did he really charge the entire three day fiasco to the American taxpayer? Did he really immediately leave for a 10 day luxury vacation in Martha’s Vineyard after telling us we had to tighten our belts? Did he really claim that he pulled us out of the recession, avoided a depression and got the economy back on track? Did he really claim that things haven’t improved because of “bad luck”? Oh yes he did!

FYI, the only bad luck we’ve had has been Obama, Geithner, Bernanke and a Democratic Congress.

This is the stuff farces are made of and he’s the star in the center ring.

I said when he first took office that if we left him alone he’d destroy himself and it’s happening before our eyes. I just hope he destroys himself before he destroys this great nation. We can’t afford another 4 years of the circus that is the Obama Administration.

I am amazed we’ve survived this long without the infinite wisdom of Obama.

Last week he (I can’t bring myself to use an upper case “h” even though he believes he deserves it) announced his withdrawal plan for Afghanistan. I say “his” plan because, despite several options provided by his advisers, he chose a different path. He totally ignored the experience and firsthand knowledge of the fighting leaders on the ground in Afghanistan and came up with his own plan. One totally devoid of any actual military experience on his part as he has never even served in any military capacity. He devised this plan based upon political strategy not military strategy.

Obama's New Afghan Strategy Was Not Military Option

He ought to be ashamed of himself but, as we’ve seen over the past two and a half years, he knows no shame. I am now convinced that he is just what he appears, a narcissistic egomaniac.

The examples of his self focused obsession are too numerous to list. Just turn on your television any time of the day and you’ll see either a speech or a sound bite full of “I” and “me”. I will give him credit for being a good talker, but that’s all he is, talk. And to make matters worse, none of his talk makes sense in the real world. None of it ever comes to fruition. He is in love with the sound of his own voice. I am not!

He derides foreign dictators and demands that they step down for democracy’s sake. Yet he is acting as a sovereign of this nation and thinks he is supreme ruler. He ignores the Constitution, Congress, his advisors and common sense. He and Michelle act as though they are king and queen of America.

I believe many Americans are fed up with his antics and buffoonery. We are tired of his lack of leadership and total disregard for reality.

His sole objective is to get reelected so he can go on living his luxurious lifestyle and making speeches at our country’s expense.

If he manages to get reelected, God help this country!

We are seeing some really weird things in the media these days. The spin is in overdrive and reaching for more.

Yesterday, after a horrible existing home sales report the markets shot up and stayed up all day. In addition to that bit of bad news, the April numbers for home sales were revised downward (a common occurrence with all government figures these days).

May Existing Home Sales

The spin on the market rise was that the numbers weren’t as bad as predicted, so that was good news. Also, the markets were cheering the “hope” for a new Greece deal. We have really sunk to a new low. Can you say market manipulation? I’m not sure who’s investing in these markets these days but it sure isn’t me!

The housing news reaction is like me saying I thought I was overdrawn at the bank for $200 but found out that it was only $190. To celebrate, I take my wife out to an expensive dinner…and write a check for it. That’s how absurd all these shenanigans have become.

Then there’s the Greece fiasco.

Greek Bailout

Picture this scenario. You and I are on the verge of going under financially and are barely making ends meet. Our neighbor across the street comes over and says that he needs us to give him money so he can pay his mortgage or he’s going bankrupt. He further tells us he will, in all probability, still go bankrupt in a few months and won’t be able to repay us but at least it will buy him a little more time. We give him the money knowing full well that this will be the final straw that sends us into a tailspin as well. Welcome to today’s global financial plan.

To prove how dumb and inexperienced he really is, Timothy Geithner is urging the implementation of the above mentioned scenario (i.e., the Greece bailout). He still thinks this administration’s plans are working and a recovery is under way.

The prudent person should wake up to all this foolishness and begin to prepare themselves for the coming disaster created by our elected officials. They’ve got their millions safely tucked away, their special exclusions and inclusions and their insulations in place. The American people are the ones being left out to dry.

You know things are really bad when even the hardest spun numbers still look horrible.

Well, he’s at it again…and again and again. Obama’s legacy will be as the “broken record” president.

If last summer was the much touted “summer of recovery” this has got to be the “summer of discovery”. We are discovering that all their promises were lies. We’re discovering that all their assumptions were absurd. We’re discovering that Obama has surrounded himself with idiots who don’t understand how the real world works. We’re discovering that all the spin in the world doesn’t make reality change.

Most of his trusted economic advisors are deserting the sinking ship and returning to, of all places, academia! The fact that none of these folks had ever held a real job in the real world should have been a loud warning bell. But I’m convinced that Obama isn’t capable of allowing anyone near him who is smarter than him. He surrounds himself with people who he can outshine. In this way he keeps his self-perception of being the smartest person in the room. Unfortunately he’s not as bright as the liberal press would have us believe and, therefore, we have a room full of dummies.

On Monday Obama visited a plant in North Carolina touting his plans for American job growth. The only problem was that more than half the jobs from this company are in China. We gave them billions to develop a company that then outsourced more than half its workforce.

Cree Outsourcing Jobs to China

He also announced “his” plan to train 10,000 engineers a year. Wow, how impressive. What genius!

Obama Unveils Push to Train 10,000 Engineers

Considering there are almost 14 million Americans out of work this number is sad to say the least. The real kicker though is that he only talks of training these individuals. My question is, once they’re trained, then what? They join the rest of the unemployed. No job creation, just more ineffective grand standing.

So, we hear the same song and dance we heard during his first campaign and every week thereafter. Jobs are his priority, he’s focusing on job creation, all hands on deck to push for jobs. I keep wondering when he’s going to stop talking and actually start doing something.

Maybe he needs to take a hint from his advisers, resign and go back to the classroom.

How do you run a country without a budget? Apparently any way you please.

It is mind boggling to me that this is the 751st day the Democrats have served without passing a budget. This is no oversight or mistake. It is intentional. After all, if you don’t have a budget you don’t have to be accountable. You can spend as much as you like on whatever you like.

750 Days Later and No Budget

Talk about slick politics. What happened to all the transparency that was supposed to begin way back when Nancy Pelosi took the gavel as Speaker of the House. They were going to “drain the swamp”. Well, as far as I can tell, all that’s been drained is our pocketbooks.

I sadly shake my head when I hear misguided and delusional folks blame President Bush for our present problems. Sure, all presidents inherit and create some problems. But the Democrats and liberals seem to conveniently forget that Democrats controlled the House and Senate two years prior to Obama taking the White House. The problems may have begun under Bush but the Democrats were in control.

If you or I managed our households and businesses the way the politicians are running this country we would all be bankrupt. Maybe that’s why this country is headed for bankruptcy on a fast track. With the evidence staring them square in the face they still continue down the same path. Instead of passing a realistic and reasonable budget, they argue, fuss and fight to raise the debt limit. Unbelievable!

I gave up thinking these folks were stupid a long time ago. I am now convinced they are just plain evil.

This country can’t take another four years of the circus that occupies the White House. We will be financially and morally bankrupt! When people like “Common” get invitations to perform in the top venue in the land, something must give. The Obamas live like rock stars and, I believe, think they are royalty in their own minds.

So, when the presidential hopefuls began popping out of the woodwork earlier this year, it seemed as though we would have no problem finding at least one real contender. WRONG! None of these folks are strong enough to overcome the unions, the liberals and the Black/Hispanic vote. Most of them have way too much baggage to drag them down. There is one exception in my opinion.

In all fairness, when Obama ran the first time he had no baggage. I think there are two reasons for this.

First, no one knew, nor do we now know, who this man really is in real life. He is an enigma. For all of you on the left, look up the word, I’m not being racist.

Second, he had not done anything of any importance and had zero experience in the real world. He was an unknown, do nothing who could read a teleprompter. But oh how things have changed. He has piled on more baggage than a handler at O’Hare International airport.

So, back to the contenders. One has caught my attention and I will continue to follow him with interest. Herman Cain. If you have listened to him speak you see what I mean. He is articulate, intelligent, savvy, committed, determined and he appears to be honest.

Herman Cain Winner of Fox News Debate

Hear Herman Cain Speak

He is a proven successful businessman without the Trump abrasiveness. He knows how to make tough decisions and get things done. He knows how to articulate his ideas and beliefs in concise terms. He knows how things work in the real world. He commits and then stays the course. In short, he is all the things Obama is not.

I even have his campaign slogan: HERMAN CAIN, THE REAL DEAL

Maybe his greatest strength to carry him through a tough campaign season is one that will just drive the left crazy. They would not be able to play the race card.

The current administration must think we are the stupidest people on earth, and maybe we are!

Obama’s flying all over the country (at the taxpayer’s expense) and giving speeches like they’re going out of style. We’re told he’s conducting the country’s business but it sure looks like campaigning to me. He chooses Obama friendly audiences at photo op venues. He spends so much time on the road and in front of cameras that I’m beginning to think he’s actually afraid of the Oval Office. He certainly seems uncomfortable staying in the White House for any length of time.

Just yesterday he was at the border (his first visit since taking office) to declare that America’s borders are the safest they’ve ever been. He twists and warps numbers to fit his message. He’s become very adept at spin. Anyone who actually believes this tripe is stupid. Oops, there’s that word again.

AP poll numbers this morning show him gaining quite a bit of ground (unbelievable in fact) in popularity.

Apparently he got a large bump from OBL. Interesting timing for him. According to this poll more than half those questioned say he deserves reelection. Sure wish they had polled me. Does anyone out there know anyone who has actually received a poll call? I would love to see the questions and how they are worded. Of course, AP is not known for their impartial approach. With the liberal bias comes good news for Obama.

In my next blog I will take a look at a few Presidential hopefuls that I think are worth considering. Call me stupid but I think we need change!

Today I have feathers on the brain. I apologize for not following the flock and writing about Osama bin Laden but, frankly, I’m a little tired of hearing about him. I’m spreading my wings in a different direction.

Early each morning I rise, fix myself a cup of coffee and look out my back window at the wildlife in the yard. We have 7 bird feeders scattered throughout the yard and as a result we have an abundance of wildlife feeding all day long. There are bunnies, squirrels, and of course the birds. All kinds of birds! There are Finches, Sparrows, Crows, Doves, Cardinals, Blue Jays, Bluebirds, a Hawk and Grackles. We even have two pairs of ducks.

Occasionally my wife will give me bread that has gone stale to share with my friends. I break it up into small pieces and scatter it throughout the yard. I enjoy observing the process in which it disappears. No matter how much I spread, within an hour it’s all gone. I’ve learned two lessons from my avian friends.

First, no matter how much bread I give them it is never enough. It can be a slice or a loaf, it makes no difference. As much as I give is as much as they’ll take. Second, the more often I give, the more birds come. Somehow they get the message out that I’m handing out free food and they come in droves.

Yesterday I observed something that really caught my attention. Upon completion of the distribution process I sat in our swing to watch the show. One particularly brave grackle eyed a large piece of bread and began a little dance to retrieve it. He would tilt his head, advance a little, retreat and repeat the process. This went on for about five minutes until he finally got the nerve to grab the morsel and head across the yard, running as fast as his legs would carry him. Now, as interesting as I found this process I observed something even more fascinating.

Once he had earned the prize and was ready to enjoy it, a host of other grackles began chasing after him to share in the spoils. He had to fight to keep his hard earned bread and in the end he lost most of it.

The yard was covered with other pieces of bread ripe for the picking, but these grackles chose to take from the one who had already done the work rather than have to put forth some effort themselves. Sound familiar? I guess even in nature there are those who subscribe to the philosophy of redistribution of wealth.

I no longer refer to these birds as grackles. I prefer to call them the Obama liberals.
